Mendocino guitarist Michael Hedges, an innovative and Marie of Virginia Beach; two stepchildren, Shaun Dougherty of Port St. Lucie, Fla. and Steven Dougherty of Sarasota, Fla.; a brother and two grandchildren. He studied flute and classical guitar at Phillips University in Enid and the Interlochen Music Camp.
